Back a few months (2019) ago a manager at the North Little Rock Ark. Location named Jim refused to replace a water pump with a life time warranty. Said I had talked funny to his employee. There was a mix up with the phone number I gave them 10 years ago when I first bought it. My new number isn't the same, NOW, supposedly the way I told the employee not to change anything was unacceptable to this manager.
Again this month I tried replacing a computer and I bought years ago with a life time warranty. Again they wouldn't honor it. Told me they would give me a refund. This same computer only comes with a one year warranty as of today.
Anyhow, the manager or somebody at the one in Clinton, Arkansas accused me of having replaced this computer 5 or 6 times which was a lie and they knew at the time accusing me of it. Back in February 2020 I tried replacing the computer because of the check engine wouldn't go out and without codes.
Tried replacing it and the new computer made my Jeep run real bad so I took it back before leaving the parking lot. Now this month (August 2020) it broke down and had CarQuest work on it and they tell me it's the computer so I had them get a replacement from O'Reilly. IT WAS THE SAME BROKE COMPUTER THAT DIDN'T WORK back in February, same one. Once you plug one of these computer up to a car it stores the VIN number and has to be reprogrammed. Long story short they wouldn't honor my life time warranty. I had to buy a new one from CarQuest.
I just want to give a huge shout out to Erin at Lebanon store on Sparta pike. She helped me for an hour or more trying to find a part that had no part number or info and did not know the name of it. She finally found it for me and I was able to order it thru dealer since they didn't carry it and couldn't get it. I love working with her to get parts for my vehicles.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.
Their company policy is no refunds on shipped items. Which means. If you bought an item or items, no matter how much the shipping is, wether you actually get the item or not you will not get a refudn for the shipping you paid. Even if you got a defective item!
I had the store order me something. Never got it and the store manager Troy wouldnt give me a refund. I had to call corporate. Corporate called the store, talked to Troy and corporate told me to go get my refund. I drove back to the store, didnt say a word. Just handed teh recipt and Troy knew aht he was todl to do. Troy was told by corporate to issue me the refund cause the item I paid for was on back order and no one could tell me when or if Id ever get the item. Troy thought it was funny when I first tried to get teh refund and, get this he sais " OH well, here is the corprorate number" when I told him Id call his boss if he wouldnt give me the refund. Apparentyly Troy things stealing peoples money is ajoke and that his boss woudl take his side. Troy ripping me off for the shipping on a 13 dollar item. Huge million dollar company and this idiot couldnt issue me a 7 dollar refund for the shipping? They should let him go. I had to take half the day and several trips and phone calls to several stores to get this refund. NEVER GOING BACK.. Thanks Troy... Douche Bag!
I bought a $#*!ie's brand seat cover at O'reillys Calais, ME. The manager was unable to tell me if the cover would fit my truck seat, but cordially said to bring it back if it didn't. Good manager, good management. He thanked me for my military service and offered me a military discount. I was thankful and appreciative. The seat cover fortunately fit.
In approximately only two weeks the seat cover had worn a substantial hole in what turned out to be insubstantial material. Very poor quality. Do not buy a $#*!ie's brand seat cover! I returned the $31.49 seat cover with my receipt for a refund at Ellsworth, ME O'reilly. The manager stated a refund was not possible, but reluctantly allowed me to exchange it for another. I wasn't happy with no refund and predicted to him the new seat cover would do the same thing because of the poor quality material.
Sure enough, in approximately the same time of only two weeks this second seat cover wore a whole through the terribly weak, insubstantial, poor quality material. I reiterate do not buy a $#*!ie's brand seat cover.
I returned this second seat cover with receipt to O'reillys Ellsworth, ME again. The manager wasn't there. I explained the situation and my dissatisfaction of the hole in the seat cover to the assistant manager. He said he couldn't offer me a refund or exchange. "It wasn't allowed". "It wasn't a manufacturer defect because it didn't come out of the box that way" and therefore could not be warranted was his explanation. I was completely baffled with this statement and baffled by an assistant manager who didn't care whether the customer was satisfied or not. I questioned him why the manager two weeks ago had allowed an exchange. He called the manager. He stated the manager said he had done the initial exchange as a courtesy but would not do it again. I was left with a seat cover that was no good and $31.49 wasted. I told the assistant manager he had lost an O'reilly customer. He didn't care. He said this happens all the time: "people buy cheap seat covers and they don't last". I said "here"? "No, at Walmart and all kinds of places" was his reply. Then added "but they don't complain".
Imagine that. Again, I am completely baffled. What does all this mean? In this instance anyway, O'reillys didn't care about customer satisfaction even though a product they sold was unmistakably of very, very poor quality. I would suggest buying your auto care products elsewhere. I certainly will be.
I appreciate the manager at Calais who demonstrated customer satisfaction was important.
I appreciate the Ellsworth manager's initial attempt at courtesy. Sadly, despite some initial good action the end result was atrocious. A customer was sold an extremely poor quality product and left having spent $31.49 for nothing. O'reillys is $31.49 richer, the customer is $31.49 poorer. Ellsworth, Me O'reilly management is satisfied with that.
Placed my payment & order under wrong customer. Failed to have part at stated time. Sunset Ave, 27804.
Just went into store at granbury rd in Fort Worth. 3 guys behind the counter, on their phones, two with their backs to the counter. Stood there for a few minutes, no one looked up, then asked "can anyone check me out?" With an attitude and not a word said, the guy on the bench reluctantly got up and checked me out. Will think long and hard the next time I need something, about going back to Oreilly.
I think time changed....they refused to install the battery I bought in the store even after I told them they did last time... so over price without installing. So lame. I did at Walmart for the half price and they installed my battery. everything happens with a reason. I won't visit Oreilly anymore. Thanks for the warning...
I love my Orielly's. Great service and prices. They do not discriminate against health conditions and have earned my business.
We've bought several brand new parts that were bad had to take back. That's gas n wear n tear on my vehicle plus the parts aren't cheap at all!
I placed an order, online, for my Daughter so she could go to her local store and pick up a battery. I placed the order at 11:56am, called the store Manager about the order and my Daughter headed to that store to pick up the battery. But when she got to the store, the order had not been finalized through O'Reilly online and required me to call an 800 number to proceed, all in the name of "SECURITY" they claimed. It is not up to O'Reilly to decide how I pay for the order...that is between me and my credit card company. With the thousands of dollars my Husband and I spend yearly at O'Reilly and have this issue arise means we will NEVER buy anything again. NAPA is right down the road.
Thank's O"Reilly, I looked all over for de-icer today and everywhere I went I was out of luck.
Just about gave up and here I was on Winchester road and seen O'Reilly, my last hope.
There it was on a top shelf, I thought I had won the lottery. I'm giving you five stars.
Entered the store in Weslaco, TX never greeted. I woke up Mario at the counter and interrupted his daydreaming I guess. I asked for wiper blades for my Prius and asked if he could install to which he grumbled something back under his breath to which I was sorry I stopped here. I paid for the blades, and he let them set on the counter and started waiting on everyone (Hispanic) that walked through the door. I grabbed the blades and walked out , thanking him for NO service.
OK, Back to Amazon from now on.
i wrote a review and said: they were out of O'Reilly oil and when I wrote a review they wrote back 'Unfortunately, it did not meet all of our website guidelines' wow stupid bot responses.
then you blocked me from responding
Just wanted to give a great shout out to Mr James the manager of O'Reilly's he is such a beautiful person he is so helpful especially when don't have anybody to help you, keep up the excellent work
